Welcome!

Jacksonville Harmony Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, promotes women’s four-part harmony, barbershop style, through musical education and performance, thereby furthering the artistic and cultural enrichment of its members and the community.

 

Our director is Master Director Ann Gooch, who inspires us to reach new heights with each performance. We can be heard throughout the year, singing for civic and charitable organizations, private groups, churches, community events, and fundraisers.

 

We love to entertain by putting on our own musical events each year for the community, our friends, and families and in an effort to stay committed to singing and performing at the highest level possible, we compete each year in a regional contest.

 

 

The 2009 Region 9 Gulf-Atlantic competition earned the chorus a second place finish

with a Wild Card invitation to the 2010 Sweet Adeline Competition in Seattle,WA.

 Our quartet, the Dream Girls, also earned a second place medal and a Wild Card invite to the 2009 Sweet Adeline International Competition in Nashville, TN Oct. 20-25, 2009!
